SAartsEmerging.org uses Wordpress as a Content Management System. The design was first developed as a standard WP 2.0 theme, including archives, calendar and categories in the sidebar, and later adapted for our own use. The zip file includes:

• original design, with different sidebars for posts, pages and single posts
• our header and footer images of Bronwyn Lace's work
• layered Photoshop file to put in your own image; includes gradient, curved edges and "pre-cut" slices

To change the header and footer:

• open graphic.psd
• place your own image on, or just above, the "bg image" layer, and resize as you see fit
• file, save for web
• point PhotoShop to the theme's folder.
• (this should overwrite the 'graphic.jpg' and 'footer.jpg' files in the "images" folder)
• open "footer.php" and delete the text "image: detail of installation by Bronwyn Lace" - put in text about your own header and footer images, if you wish

Upload/FTP the whole folder into your themes directory (example.com/yourblog/wp-content/themes/), and then go to http://example.com/yourblog/wp-admin/ in your browser, and click on "presentation," to activate the artsemerging theme.
