Finally. Too many ‘almost cleared it’ runs were beginning to enrage me.
Not the best run I’ve done. Really really dumb death on the 3rd boss that ultimately cost me 1.5M in end-game bonus.
My 5-1 and 5-2 aren’t the greatest for scoring; but I’d been making deliberate decisions to sacrifice scoring in those stages in order to survive. Seems to have paid off. Still suffering from dumb-death syndrome on the last boss.
My experiences in other runs lead me to think I could come very close to a 1LC of this game (I might drop a life on the last form of the boss). I’ve done nearly every part of this game without dying at least once; just not all at once. Not sure if I’ll try to do this anytime soon, sorta burnt out on this.
The video may have a few sound sync issues. Too lazy to figure out where and fix (and it seems to correct itself towards the end? I think it has something to do with all the weird slowdown)
