Week #4 of the shmups 2k6 tournament. (No video for week #3, I didn’t record anything).
It took quite a bit of time to adjust to Dragon Blaze. The combination of having to manage the dragon shot AND the first 4 stages being random (as opposed to the first 3 like Gunbird 2 etc) meant it took more time to get familiar with the stages. I didn’t actually get this score until the last 30 minutes of the week. Overall I could have done much better, but my consistency with the first 4 stages was bad and it held me back. I even had a really dumb death in 1-2 on this run.
